BMO Capital Markets is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst for its Calgary Energy group. The team advises clients across oil and gas production, power and energy infrastructure, and energy services on mergers and acquisitions, equity financings and debt financings. The Analyst supports transaction execution, prepares client presentations, performs financial modelling and other financial analysis, conducts company and industry research, works with internal product partners and maintains internal databases. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field, plus six to twenty-four months of investment banking experience or two to four years of corporate finance or accounting experience. Strong energy-sector knowledge, analytical ability, communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, FactSet and Bloomberg are required. BMO states a CAD 100,000 annual base salary and an application deadline of February 27, 2027.
