Role description
IMCO is seeking a student entering the third or fourth year of a Finance, Business or related program to join its Fundamental Equities investment team in Toronto from May through August 2027.
The intern will research companies and industries, evaluate potential investments, prepare investment reviews and recommendations, build financial models, perform DCF and comparable-company valuation analysis, support portfolio reviews and investment decisions, and participate in meetings with public-company management teams, industry experts and sell-side research analysts.
Applicants should have a strong interest in public-equity markets and investment management, quantitative and analytical ability, financial-modelling and research skills, knowledge of financial statements, strong communication skills and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Bloomberg or Capital IQ is an asset. IMCO states an annualized base salary range of CAD $45,000 to $65,000 for the four-month placement.
