Experienced Investment Banking Analyst

Role overview This is an immediate-start, full-time Investment Banking Analyst role with Origin Merchant Partners in Toronto. Analysts work with Origin professionals across seniority levels on advisory and financing transactions and participate in client meetings with senior management teams. Responsibilities - Support all aspects of transaction development and execution. - Perform financial and valuation analysis and detailed modelling. - Prepare presentation and offering materials, research companies and industries, conduct due diligence and help market transactions. Qualifications - Relevant prior work experience; investment-banking or M&A advisory experience is preferred. - Financial-modelling and valuation skills, critical thinking and problem-solving ability and excellent communication. - Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and familiarity with relevant market-data services. - Strong understanding of and interest in capital markets, business, economics and finance. - Excellent academic record and ability to work independently and as part of a focused team.
