Intern, Sagard Private Equity - Winter 2027

Sagard Private Equity Canada is seeking an intern to join its Montréal or Toronto team from January through April 2027. The team partners with Canadian mid-market companies to accelerate growth and support their development into market leaders. The intern will participate throughout the investment process, including sourcing and screening new opportunities, executing due diligence, performing company valuation and investment-structuring analysis, building financial models, preparing Investment Committee presentations and memoranda, and supporting portfolio-company performance tracking and other portfolio analysis. Applicants should be in the second or third year of a Bachelor of Business Administration or a related program and demonstrate strong academic performance, analytical and financial-modelling ability, communication skills, attention to detail and comfort in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Previous experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking or consulting is considered an asset. French and English proficiency is required for the Montréal location.
